Beacon audio bytes

The values in brackets under each type of audio format are the file sizes. If you're using a modem you may think twice before clicking on a WAV file as they tend to be rather large (albeit with better quality).

"mp3" files are smaller than "wav" files but contain audio artifacts due to the compression technique (ie doesn't sound as good).
